What to expect on your visits:
Your case is extensively reviewed. We will then discuss a treatment plan that works well for you. On your first visit, allocate 2 hours for interview, examination and treatment. Depending on your situation, one or more of the above mentioned services might be used. Follow up visits usually range from 1 hour to an hour and a half. Your active participation will facilitate the treatment results.
How many treatments will I need?
After your initial interview and visit, you will be advised about the amount of follow up treatments. In China, due to its social healthcare system, it is very common for patients to receive acupuncture daily. In the United States, lifestyle and the medical care system is greatly different. We will find a solution that best fits your current condition, time, and financial ability. Generally speaking, on acute conditions, there might be as little as three visits. On more chronic conditions, one or a serious of courses1 of treatment will be prescribed.
Just like keeping up with anything at top shape, regular bodywork is advised. On healthy individuals or to prevent relapse, quarterly treatments (about four times a year or less) are suggested.
Cost of treatments:
Most initial visits are $100 175 US. Follows ups range from $50 80 US. You will be notified in advance on the price.
If herbal medicine is prescribed, additional cost may be incurred. This can range anywhere from $2 $80 US.
Acceptable forms of payments are: cash, personal checks and Paypal.
